this summer has been a disaster for getting new comics done, not because of the reasons in the comics attached to this post, but because of the unseen "third" ghostly to-do list that is childcare and household stuff. Maybe I'll work that one into a comic later, but right now I'm too resentful to even give it space on the page. But! School is back in session for my six year old, and I hope to be betting back to the drawing board soon, thanks for hanging in there with me!

Comic Con!Hi dearest patrons, I have been a bit quiet here since it's summer and I've been mostly playing dinosaurs at the abandoned developmental center and dicking around in creeks with my kid. See photos at the end of this post for evidence. I will resume posting new work shortly!ImageJuly 21Public 0 1my words, back at me (in three parts)Some recent diary comics. You never quite hear the words you're saying to your kid until they say them back and you're like, hmm, maybe I should stop threatening to cut off random body parts when he gets hurt. In my defense, I only do it when he's making a huge scene out of a small scratch or something. When he actually broke his nose, I was NICE and I TOOK HIM TO URGENT CARE and I LET HIM EAT ICE CREAM BEFORE NOON, okay???ImageJune 17Public 0 3misconceptionsJune 3ArticleJune 3Public 0 11part 3 of 3These are probably the last pages I'll post about my brother. There's no way to adequately express how grateful I am that he chose to stay with us, and that he is doing well now. For anyone struggling with mental illness, and/or for family members and friends of those people, NAMI is a good resource, and I highly encourage attending support groups since talking, sharing, and being around others who understand are the only way to get through it.ImageMay 15Public 0 1part 2 of 3the second batch of pages from Bury Me Already about the family crisis we went through from 2020-2022. The accident (detailed in the previous post, but in short, my brother had a psychotic episode and was hit by a train. He lost his left arm, and three fingers on his right hand) happened in 2021. He is alive and well today. I'm posting these for mental health awareness month.ImageMay 14Public 0 5one for mother's dayMay 11ArticleMay 11Public 0 5May (events in comic happened in 2021)Hard pivot!
