They’ve needed an overhaul for a long time. I then realized that my entire resource pack is 24-bit, which is overkill for a resolution of 32x32. It’s also why my pack is so heavy on the computer. So, before the next update I’m converting all of my textures to 8-bit which can hold 256 colors per tile. For 32x32, this is plenty!
