I'll dig all these scenes out and you can see the hidden layers of drafting that bring each character to life!

$15/moThe Spice JarThe most frustrating part of working on Legacy of Brick & Bone was the sheer number of romance plot lines I wrote and then cut when I realized I was off in the wrong direction again! I loved each one, believed in each one, had to mourn each one when I realized I couldn't keep them in the narrative! The reasons for each cut is various but ultimately I was willing to change anything for the sake of making Brick & Bone the story it needed to be, no matter how glorious the spice was. Now, each thread can have new life in the Spicy Non-Canon Zone. They may not be true to the world of the Dominion anymore, but each one helped me figure out what I wanted from the series, and helped me understand the characters involved. And you get to see all those words, all those beautiful spicy words so they don't go to waste!
