But better late than never, I say. The year known as 2022 was a big one for me, with so much change, growth and learning. I feel very grateful. But one of the biggest highlights for me was spending a good stretch of quality time back home in Newfoundland after so many years away. It was a weird mix of comfortable familiarity and seeing the place I was born and grew up with fresh eyes after 10 years of being away.
