$2/moGas MoneyHiddenRunning a sanctuary means burning through a lot of fuel! Between going to pick up feed from UFA Farm Supply, stocking up on hay & straw, bringing animals to the vet/ going to the vet to pick up supplies, and Freedom Rides, the amount of money spent on gas really starts to add up. $3 per month will definitely help out with this. But, not only do we have to pay for our own gas - whenever we have to have a vet do a farm visit (rather than bringing Lucky One(s) to the clinic) we have to pay the vet's mileage as well. Depending on which vet/clinic we need to have come over the price per kilometre is around $2.65 which amounts to a lot considering that one of our vets is over 35km away and our other vet is approx. 68km away!

$7/moA Bale of Hay AND a Bale of StrawHidden$2.50 is the average cost of a bale of straw. Your donation will go directly towards giving the Lucky Ones somewhere nice and cozy to sleep. The cows, goats & sheep sleep separately from the pigs and the chickens sleep separately from everyone. We go through approximately 20 bales of straw monthly between the three pens depending on the weather. A bale of hay is, on average, $7/bale and we go through around 10 bales EVERY DAY. Signing up for this tier is a huge help and is greatly appreciated.
When you donate a bale of hay and a bale of straw each month to The Lucky Ones you receive a personalized ‘Thank You’ from all of us plus you will have access to an exclusive photo not found on any of our other social media platforms.
$10/moChicken SponsorshipHiddenAll of our current chickies are retired laying hens. Your $10 per month will help cover the cost of the ladies' "layer's ration" feed that is formulated specifically for laying hens as egg production is hard on their bodies. The $10 will also help cover the costs of the drying/deodorizing powder used to help keep their coop dry and not-so-chicken poop-stinky. As well as the straw and/or wood shavings we will use for their nesting boxes!

$20/moDante the Donkey SponsorshipHiddenDonating $20 per month to sponsor Dante will not only help pay for his hay, grain & oats (very limited so that he doesn't get fat, hehe) and apples! But it will also be going towards working with a horse trainer.
Dante was abused prior to coming to the Lucky Ones Farm Sanctuary and therefore has proven pretty difficult to handle and work with. He has some quirks and is very head shy which means he was most likely hit in the head often. He associates halters and being put on leads with negative experiences and loading him onto trailers has proven slightly dangerous for both Dante and ourselves.
Tyce & I are not experienced regarding these things so we are seeking outside help. The woman has discounted her services because we are a sanctuary and she understands that we run off of donations and our personal income yet she still needs to be compensated for her time.
Being able to halter, lead and transport Dante is crucial to his health and safety as these things will all be required for veterinary visits, farrier work, etc.
$20 per month will get you a personalized "Thank You," access to exclusive photos and you will get to watch Dante's progress in regards to his work with a trainer.

Because the number of Lucky Ones fluctuates, so will the contribution. As a Patron of ours, you will receive the news of new residents before anyone else so you will be able to decide whether or not you would like to remain in this tier prior to me updating it.
$40/moCow SponsorshipHiddenOn average, it costs $40-$50 to feed our cows each month. This includes their hay, calf grain, mineral/salt blocks, and treats such as bread, fruits & veggies. All of our calves have come to us as bottle babies meaning they required formula/milk replacer which is not cheap!

$60/moPig SponsorshipHiddenPigs are, by FAR, the most expensive animals that reside at the Lucky Ones Farm Sanctuary. They eat the most and are also pretty tough on shelters, fencing and any other items given to them such as water & feed troughs as well as swimming pools!
$60 per month will help pay for their formulated "hog" feed (which they go through like crazy), corn and "clearance shelf" groceries that they receive almost daily such as fruits, veggies, grain, cereal, bread, baked goods, etc. or anything else that's yummy and piggy-edible that may have ended up on a clearance shelf in the produce section.

$75/moProperty PatronHiddenProjects around the Lucky Ones' property is never-ending! Posts, post-pounders, panels, paint, plywood - you name it, we need it! Wire (barbed & not), shingles, sheets of tin, signage and ideally, a security system are all things we need around our new property to keep the animals safe, sheltered and secure!
Your $75 monthly donation will go into a separate account we have set up for fencing, shelter & construction projects and go towards helping us repair, replace and/or build things needed for the animals.
$75 per month will get you a personalized "Thank You," exclusive photos of the Lucky Ones and updates of any projects that we've got on the go.
$85/moDoctor DonatorHiddenVeterinary care is easily one of our biggest and most important expenses. Between deworming, hoof trimming, vaccines, bottles, feeding tubes, electrolytes, prescriptions, IVs, superficial wound supplies (antibacterial cream, bandages, etc.), spaying & neutering/castrating, shearing, ear cleanings, general checkups/examinations, travel costs (livestock vets travel per kilometre to do "house" calls), and wanting to have emergency funds for potential emergency situations, everything adds up quickly!
Your $85 per month donations will either go to our current outstanding vet bill of approx. $3000 or it will go into a separate, specific account we have set up for medical/vet care for the Lucky Ones.
Again, the health of the animals is our biggest priority. We want to offer our Patron's that sign up to donate to vet care specifically, extremely special and exclusive benefits. However, the "Doctor Donator" tier is similar to the $100+ tiers in what we are still working on benefits for you. As stated in the other tier descriptions -
