$25/moWinter Basecamp OutfitterFull-time winter camping is such an incredible experience, I've learned so much over the past 6 winter seasons living in a tent with a wood stove in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. As glorious as it looks, this is hard work and requires much more resources compared to summer 4x4 truck camping. As a Winter Basecamp Outfitter, you'll have an integral part in making sure my supplies stay topped off so I can keep jamming. I couldn't believe it when I spotted this laying on the ground near a rock overhang. I sat with this incredible spear tip for over an hour wondering what life was like for the individual who made this thousands of years ago. I sent a few pictures to a local archeologist and he said this is a Late Archaic Period spear tip dating back to somewhere between 3000BC - 1000BC. I've been back to this location twice since I spotting this artifact to see what else is in the immediate area.
