In a recent FB post from Oahu, Stock wrote: "The tangle of the modern world is dwarfed by the beauty here." It's true, but...the numbers of people on Waikiki Beach was astonishing! The ever broadening tangle of the modern world is a constant threat to island life.

We got our dream trailer! She's a 2022 Max Little Guy/Gal. Only five feet larger than our beloved 1955 Shasta, and quite an upgrade. It's been several years since our return from our first epic adventure, and we are beyond ready to get back in the saddle! This time our excursions will be spaced apart and last for days or weeks at a stretch.ImageFeb 1, 2022Public 0 1First Place for Tug and Bell Jar!Dec 1, 2020ArticleDec 1, 2020$10 tier & up 0 0Garage door project, June 2020 video by Eric FurmanThis was a fun project, and for great people that's as good as it gets. It has been wonderful to revisit these places and give them some energy. I love plein air painting but some things need moire time to develop and the studio is good for that. I took a couple days off last week and got out with students, it was a glorious day on the Trinity. Last weekend was North Coast Open Studios at 208 C st. in Eureka. It was a fabulous success! Thank you all! The Bhutan Show is up through June. Please contract Stock, Rachel or Paul to make an appointment to see the exhibit. Many thanks Patrons!ArticleJun 14, 2019Public 0 1Anza Borrego Nocturne by StockApr 3, 2019ArticleApr 3, 2019Public 0 0North Bay by StockView post We have certainly had our share of rain here lately. Rachel and I are doing our best to escape it, we're headed south to the desert tomorrow, if we can achieve escape velocity. Once again I get to participate the Borrego Springs Art Institute Plein Air Invitational. It's a very fun event, that is run by good people, and well attended by the public. This is my 8th year, I always enjoy it and have met many friends over the years. It will be a welcome change from this downpour, and I hear tell that there is a Super Bloom in progress, that will be fun. I plan to post the tales of our trip, so hop on board and tag along for a Plein Air festival in the southern California Desert. Here iArticleyesterdayPublic 0 0
