We've been working on a secondary shader to MollyVX called VXFluff, This shader focuses a bit more on speed and a moody, atmospheric tone rather than the realistic one of Molly. There isn't a direct shadowmap but instead soft path traced shadows from the sun, which circles the horizon every day.
