Article Latest postPublicLots of wildlife at the marshMarch 16 View post Went to the marsh twice yesterday. The otter was from the morning, and the Varied Thrush was from the afternoon. In the two visits, in addition to the otter and the thrush, I saw a bald eagle, a kingfisher, dippers, geese, hooded mergansers, and a few other little birds. Great day for wildlife viewing.

There were lots of these cattails, but only a few made me stop and photograph them. I have learned through my adventures that if I something catches my eye, I should photograph it. There were lots of times when I saw something, thought that I would get a shot on my way back, and then didn't see it again. Plus, stopping for a moment allows me to take a moment and enjoy the beauty around me.
