shields to protect themselves and get close enough for a
darting strike with their blades. They are regarded as
romantic and dashing figures, often bravely engaging the best
enemy regiments to prove their valour and skill. This
reputation, whilst somewhat exaggerated by the bards and
poets of the Empire, has its foundation in truth, for
Swordsmen are amongst the most highly trained and
proficient of the state regiments.

end only in three ways for there is no turning back. The
brave fighter may die in glorious battle against the
enemy of his gods in which case his soul will go to join
the essence of his deity, or be reborn into another
mortal shell to serve the gods again.
$8/moOgre IrongutHiddenOgre Ironguts are the Ogres of any given tribe that
have the most status and the best armour and weapons.
They go into battle armed with massive two-handed
weapons, be they enormous scimitars, rocks bolted to
tree boughs with iron bands, or simply gigantic
versions of the traditional Ogre club. Ironguts wear
large, ornamented gut-plates to show off their elite
standing, and cover their meaty arms and boulder-like
heads in heavy armour plating cobbled together from
various conquests over the years
$10/moJabberslytheHiddenJabberslythes are amongst the most ancient and foul of
all the creatures of the deep forest. They are truly
repugnant to look upon, having such grotesque and
twisted features that even the clearest pools of water
will not offer up their reflection. A sickening fusion of
toad, sludge-drake, and many-limbed insect, the
Jabberslythe encompasses all that is unwholesome and
vile about nature and magnifies it a hundredfold.
$12/moStar DragonHiddenThe oldest and most
powerful of Ulthuan's Dragons are referred to as Star
Dragons, for they are truly as ancient as the very stars
of the firmament. While any Dragon can savage an
entire regiment of warriors, tear a manticore apart or
rip the head off of a wyvern.
$15/moExalted BloodthirsterHiddenThe Lords of Skulls are the Greater Daemons of Khorne.
They are the brightest and most powerful servants of the
Blood God. Indeed, they are the most favoured of all of
Khorne's servants. Their bloodlust extends far beyond mortal
comprehension, and no amount of killing, no quantity of
corpses is ever enough, for the Fists of Khorne ever want
more death. Bloodthirsters are hideous avatars of warfare and
bloodshed, whose mere presence is enough to send even the
bravest mortal warrior mad with fear.
