I wanted it to work just like the default Unity UI Text component, so people will be familiar with how to use it, but SuperText will have a lot more functionality and control over the formatting.ArticleApr 22, 2016Public 0 2Card AnimationI thought I'd figure out how to run some video recording software so I could show off my card selection prototype. Once the player selects a card they will be able to use it in different ways to progress through the level.VideoApr 4, 2016Public 0 0March 2016 Patreon supportedMar 31, 2016 View post Thank you so much for the support this month!ArticleMar 31, 2016Public 0 0Invisible Button Unity ScriptMar 27, 2016 View post After looking around online for a way to make a UI Button invisible, I decided to write my own solution. Everything I found online was super hacky, and either had overdraw issues (i.e. reduce the button’s alpha to zero) or seemed to add another draw call (i.e. add Text as a child of the button then delete all the characters). So I made a script this weekend that acts like a normal Unity Button without all the overhead. You can place the RectTransform anywhere in your Canvas and assign UnityEvents to trigger when it’s clicked. I’ll be making this tool available for the Game Tool Rewards patrons in April.ArticleMar 27, 2016Public 0 0Card BasicsMar 22, 2016 View post During your turn you will have access to 6 cards in your Hand. You may play as many cards during your turn as you wish, but each card has a Cost that represents the amount of time you will have to wait until your next turn. The more cards you play during a single turn, the more Cost will accumulate, thus the more time enemies will have to react to your actions before you are able to play again. The 6 cards in your Hand are replenished at the end of your turn so you will be able to look at them during someone else’s turn.ArticleMar 22, 2016Public 0 0November 2014 Patreon supportedDec 1, 2014 View post Thank you so much for the support this month!ArticleDec 1, 2014Public 0 0July 2016 patron supportedJul 31, 2016 View post Thank you so much for the support this month!ArticleJul 31, 2016Public 0 0June 2016 patron supportedJun 30, 2016 View post Thank you so much for the support this month!ArticleJun 30, 2016Public 0 0
