Sharing my visual tale is at the heart of why I'm doing a Patreon.This tier lets you see all the stories that I post, plus occasional extras (like little stop motion videos). My artwork has a wide range of mediums from water jet cut metal, laser cut acrylic and paper to a range of textile techniques (I focused on dyeing and weaving sewing for many years) to more traditional media, such as colored pencils and watercolor.As I work through new projects I'd like get feedback from you, so this tier will include voting and occasionally a piece of art, physical object or digital!
$5/mo2dOriginally this would be only for two-dimensional surface for things viewable on a 2d screen, but I have been giving members at this level physical pieces of art. This is an original piece made special for you. I will contact you directly about colors so that I know you will like it!When I share my vault of beautiful digital images and designs, this level will be sent to you in a variety of forms from wallpapers to cards printable on a 2d piece of paper.Those files combine my passion for color, composition, and a changing selection of mediums. These will sometimes be related the 1d stories.You will still get the creative tales from the 1d tier but original art objects made for you, plus these the images will add another dimension to the stories shared in the month!
$12/mo3dThe two views of a 3d form are examples of some three-dimensional objects that I will make for you. - Sometimes you will receive a letter sized piece of paper (like the image in the middle) that you can transform (color, cut, fold, tape or glue) to make into a polyhedron, hexaflexagon, or some other cool things. More recently, I've been making new artistic experiments in paper, and having Patreon members pick out the color and/or pattern then want me to make for them. I've also made little kits, so that members can have the fun of making art for themselves. For those who have all of my books, none of these items will have been in any book. Though I might share prototypes for things that may appear in future books.All content from 1d & 2d tiers are included. After reading the tales and enjoying the images, you can have the pleasure of owning something I created and often making it into something of your own!Note: I'm beginning this for people in the continental USA only. If there is international interest, I'll look into the shipping costs and create an additional tier.
