Help declined cards get fixed
When a member's payment fails and Patreon's own retries haven't fixed it, Signal sends them one short note from you with a link to update their card. It stops the moment they pay.
When a card is declined, wait
Patreon retries the card itself first1 to 14 days. If the card was declined on Monday, the email goes out Thursday, unless they've already paid.
Who gets it
Checked with Patreon again right before sending3 members would get it if you turned it on today, worth $29 a month
Skips anyone whose card went through, who canceled or who leftchecked live
Skips members who hide their email from you1 today
Skips anyone who unsubscribed, bounced or marked it as spam0 so far
